Ballenoil, the largest independent refueling operator, intends to strengthen its presence in the province of Malaga with the opening of three new mixed gas stations during this year, bringing its total network of sites to 11. These gas stations will be located in Benahavis, Estepona and Malaga city.

Ballenoil intends to open nine service stations more in Andalusia, spread throughout Seville (4), Huelva (2) and Cadiz (3). Ballenoil's objective is to expand its presence in these provinces in an effort to promote low-cost gas stations to more Andalusians.

The new stations, in addition to having staff during business hours, will be equipped to provide 24 hours service. Drivers will be able to choose between the fuels Diesel Excellent, Unleaded Excellent 95 and Diesel Excellent PLUS. The petrol stations will also feature Blue Whale car wash centres, a subsidiary of the group.

Ballenoil will invest more than seven million euros in the installation of these new locations, which could bring fuel cost down in the area to up to ten cents on average. "We think that Malaga is a province where the market is not yet mature and there are opportunities for growth. These openings will go hand in hand with job opportunities, as there will always be personnel at Ballenoil sites to assist the drivers and carry out maintenance tasks," explains David Querejeta, partner and expansion director at Ballenoil.
