Argentina: AXION Energy opens first self-service convenience store

The site will offer all its products to the public through a "digital kiosk".

Axion Energy has opened in Vicente López, Argentina, the first convenience store featuring a self-service solution, according to surtidores.com.ar. The store will offer all its products through the DEBO Kiosco Digital interface, a "self-service terminal" equipped with a screen for the end consumer.

The system will allow the customer to choose between eating at the store or to-go, besides giving information about the latest promotions.

Foca Software emphasizes DEBO Kiosco Digital's ability to increase in-store sales. "The advantage of this modality is clear as it works only with items with high sales potential, such as promotions, and orders that go through the kitchen," says the company.

DEBO Kiosco Digital allows payment through QR code, credit or debit card and cash.
