Conex acquires Total’s business in Liberia and Sierra Leona
The Liberian oil and gas company looks to expand across the region to become an industry leader.
Conex Oil and Gas Holdings Limited (Conex) signed an agreement with Total to acquire their business Liberia and Sierra Leone.
Conex, a company with 100% Liberian ownership, said the acquisition would allow them to become a market leader in fuel supply and aviation for the region.
The sites will keep the Total brand for the next two years and Conex will also maintain the same distribution network and staff.
Total Liberia was launched in 2005 and has around 30 fuel stations, reports Further Africa.
The acquisition is in line with the goal of Conex to become a regional leader in the oil and gas industry.
