Merger of the ELAFLEX HIBY Group

ELAFLEX - Gummi Ehlers GmbH and ELAFLEX HIBY Tanktechnik GmbH & Co. KG will operate under one single umbrella.

After more than sixty years of cooperation, all business and production activities of the two affiliated companies ELAFLEX - Gummi Ehlers GmbH and ELAFLEX HIBY Tanktechnik GmbH & Co. KG have been brought together to operate under one single umbrella.

With retroactive effect from 1 January 2020, they changed their name to ELAFLEX HIBY GmbH & Co. KG. All production and distribution sites including contact details will stay the same.

Thorsten Wasmuth will be a new member of ELAFLEX HIBY management to promote a distribution division. Moritz Hiby will be the managing director of the Plettenberg-based factory and will continue to be responsible for production. Stefan Kunter will continue on executive duties as CEO and Managing Director.
