Tanknology, a provider of environmental compliance testing and inspection services, has announced that the company will honor employees that are veterans of the armed forces with a donation to Folds of Honor, a charity that provides scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members.

To show appreciation to armed forces veterans currently working with Tanknology, the company has made available special-issue Tanknology apparel that will display the logo of each individual service tech or inspector’s branch of the military, alongside the Tanknology logo.

More than 30 percent of the company’s current employees are veterans of the armed forces and Tanknology’s field technician training program is recognized by several national and state agencies for its proficiency in developing post-military career skills.

“We truly appreciate our veterans and cannot thank them enough for their service, both to our country and to Tanknology,” said Allen Porter, Tanknology CEO and President. “Over the years, veterans have proven to be some of our most dedicated and valuable employees and we feel a donation to Folds of Honor is an appropriate and well-deserved step in honoring the armed forces veterans that have served both our nation and our company with the utmost integrity.”

Founded in 2007, Folds of Honor is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members.
