SPAR Ukraine has opened three new SPAR Express stores in the Lviv and Volvn regions. Launched in Ukraine in 2001 with the opening of the first SPAR Supermarket, independent retailers have continued to bring the brand to local consumers in a number of cities.

The three new stores will offer meal solutions ranging from ready-to-eat assortment, to a selection of wines and spirits to complement the grocery offer with fresh food selection of bakery, fruits and vegetables. The delicatessen counters will feature a range of cheese and meat products, complementing the food-to-go offer.

SPAR has experienced a lot of change in Ukraine over the past few years and on 1 December 2016, a new licence was granted to Volwest LLC, a prominent retailer with over 200 supermarkets across the country and a strong track record of partnering with independent retailers. Volwest works with all SPAR retailers to strengthen the brand presence in the country, opening new convenience stores, supermarkets and hypermarkets.

With over 14 million customers worldwide daily, SPAR operates over 13,300 stores in 48 countries.
