Azerbaijan's SOCAR hits 50 fuel stations in Romania
The company plans to reach 60 locations in the country by the end of 2020.
Azerbaijan's State Oil Company (SOCAR) has opened a new fuel station in Romania’s Sibiu region, raising its network of fuel stations in the country to 50 locations.
The new site is also SOCAR’s third station in the Sibiu region, one of the main tourist areas of the country.
Sibiu’s SOCAR location will serve gasoline and diesel. The station features a Nar café, and a convenience store with Romanian products and a 'Made in Azerbaijan’ corner to promote Azerbaijani products.
Despite the coronavirus pandemic, SOCAR plans to reach 60 fuel stations in Romania by the end 2020, according to Head of SOCAR Romanian, Hamza Karimov.
SOCAR operates in Romania through its subsidiary SOCAR Petroleum SA, established in 2011.
