Independent fuel retailer from Seaoil has opened its 500th station in the Philippines as it continues to meet expansion goals.

"The opening of our 500th station is part of our goal to fuel a better future in every community and every neighborhood that we are in,” Glenn Yu, CEO of SEAOIL, said in a statement.

With the opening of the newest site in Pasig City, Seaoil said it is on-track to reach its goal of 600 gas stations by the end of the year, reports Manila Bulletin.

“With the opening of more stations, Seaoil aims to generate local jobs, provide business for new franchise partners, and offer specialized promotions to serve the communities they operate in,” the company said.

SEAOIL had earlier earmarked Php 10 million ($204.000) to support the country’s efforts to fight COVID-19, offering free fuel and discounts to support frontliners from hospitals, local government units, and transport groups.
