Spain: Plenoil surpasses 50 petrol stations

With the opening of a new location in Benissa, Plenoil operates nine petrol stations in the province of Alicante and 51 throughout Spain.

Plenoil, a leading operator of automated fuel stations in Spain, has surpassed the 50 petrol stations in the country following the opening of a new location in Benissa, Alicante. Plenoil operates now nine petrol stations in the province of Alicante, and 51 locations throughout Spain.

Plenoil will open two more gas stations in the province of Alicante before the end of the year, the company announced in a news release. Located in Orihuela, the new stations will open their doors in mid-November and December.

Plenoil plans additional openings in Alicante during 2021.

With a non-franchised business model, Plenoil aims to become the first independent petrol station operator in Spain by 2022, with 150 facilities, and to reach 65 active petrol stations by the end of 2020.
