OpenRoom’s online PetroForum connects the APAC fuel retail industry

Virtual exploded onto the APAC fuel retail scene last week with the largest gathering of key players at OpenRoom’s online PetroForum. The numbers say it all: 7 time zones, 21 countries, 115 oil company decision makers, 65 vendors – and 250 one-on-one meetings!

Leading the conversation was Arun Rajamani of Boston Consulting Group who detailed the forecourt of the future when, in less than 10 years, mobility will be king. Next up was Headline Sponsor, PDI with a compelling presentation from Brian Jefferson that argued the case for loyalty and personalisation.

In the 250 meetings that followed, everything from forecourt, shop and cloud was up for discussion.  Each fuel retailer had a member of the OpenRoom team to manage the vendor meetings – and the positive feedback made the 3:00AM start worthwhile!
