English Español AVIA Group opens its first EV chargers in Germany

These are the first electric vehicle chargers that the German retailer install at its petrol stations.

AVIA Group has opened its first two HyperCharge stations for electric vehicles in Germany.

The two locations with have a charging capacity of 150 kilowatts/h direct current or 22 kilowatts/h alternating current.

"With the opening of two fast charging stations within a week, we are not only creating additional opportunities for our customers to charge electricity quickly and conveniently at large AVIA filling stations, but are also offering e-vehicles in the Regensburg urban area," says Claudia Schwecke, Managing Director of A.F. Bauer GmbH in Regenstauf.

As an association of medium-sized companies in the mineral oil and energy industry, AVIA sees itself as an important part of the solution in the implementation of the long-term strategy for the energy transition and climate protection adopted by the German government.

More than 800 petrol stations are operated under the AVIA brand in Germany. This makes AVIA the fifth biggest retailer in the German market.
