English Español Spain: GMOil opens its fourth site in the Valencian Community

The location at the GMcash in Elche brings GM FOOD's current fuel station network in Spain to 22.

Last update:

GM FOOD, a leading player in the food distribution sector in Spain, has opened a new GMOil fuel station in Elche. This is the fourth GMOil location in the autonomous community of Valencia and brings the total number of GM FOOD fuel stations in Spain to 22 sites.

The new GMOil is located in the GMcash of Elche and has involved an investment of 365,000€. The facility has two pumps and offers two types of fuel - diesel and unleaded 95 petrol - as well as Adblue.

GM FOOD, which opened its last fuel station at the GMcash in Finestrat last April, plans to continue implementing its self-service fueling pumps on the premises of its cash&carry centres.

The GMOil fuel stations are open to the general public and offer a special 2% discount for customers. Payment is made directly at the pump and does not require any prior arrangement, thus avoiding the entrance to the stores.

GM FOOD has 6 distribution platforms throughout Spain and is a leader in the national Horeca market with its cash&carry brand GMcash, with 70 centres and 22 GMOil petrol stations, and the Food Service division. The company has more than 800 franchised supermarkets under the SUMA, Proxim and SPAR brands, and more than 2,000 independent customers.
