France: SEVEN launches multi-energy station in Perpignan

This is the city's first bioCNG refuelling station open to the general public 24/7. Two H2 filling points will be added to the location within 18 months.

SEVEN and its partners GRDF and VECTALIA, all major players in green mobility in France, have inaugurated a bio compressed natural gas (CNG) and bio hydrogen (H2) filling station in Perpignan, France. This is the city's first bioCNG refuelling station open to the general public, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, says SEVEN.

Located in the Torremila business park and accessible to all types of vehicles, the station is supplied locally. Refuelling takes about 10 minutes for a heavy vehicle and a few minutes for a light vehicle, according to SEVEN.

The 4,000-square-metre station is equipped with four bioNGV fast-refuelling stations and will add two more bioH2 filling points within 18 months. SEVEN plans to invest a total of 4.5 million euros in this project.

SEVEN was born in March 2017 in Montpellier with the idea of promoting bioNGV produced in the region. Nowadays, it specialises in the development and distribution of sustainable alternative fuels.
