Oil&nonOil: The energy, fuels and mobility services exhibition opens tomorrow at Veronafiere

The 16th edition the exhibition will be attended once again in person and boasts an impressive programme of events - from NRRP opportunities, to the development of infrastructures and new types of fuel.

The 16th edition of the Oil&nonOil - Energy, fuel & mobility services trade fair scheduled until 26 November opens tomorrow at Veronafiere. Originally scheduled earlier this year as an exhibition-conference in Rome, this edition of Oil&nonOil will now take place at Verona Exhibition Centre: an ideal solution to ensure maximum safety for exhibitors and visitors. The exhibition is organized in compliance with the latest health safety regulations and access to events and conferences is allowed only with COVID-19 green certification (Green Pass). For the first time, Oil&nonOil is held in conjunction with Asphaltica, today the main national exhibition for technologies and solutions for road paving, safety and infrastructures.

The exhibition offering for the 2021 edition of Oil&NonOil includes more than 60 companies on hand in Hall 12 representing the various product sectors associated with the fuel value chain and aervice stations: conventional and alternative fuels, refuelling, transport and storage plant, management systems and all related services. This year’s event takes place in the context of the post-pandemic recovery and the new Italian and international scenario characterized by the National Recovery and Resilience Plan as well as Next Generation Eu, where energy, mobility and innovation are key elements for the green transition.

The inaugural conference will focus on the National Recovery and Resilience Plan “NRRP: Italy between energy and sustainable mobility” scheduled from 11.30 in the Blue room in Hall 12 (Re Teodorico entrance gate), with a welcome speech by the Vice President of Veronafiere, Matteo Gelmetti. The conference will be attended by figures from the association world, including Diamante Menale (Assocostieri), Flavio Merigo (Assogasmetano), Sebastiano Gallitelli (Assopetroli-Assoenergia), Silvia Migliorini (Federchimica-Assogasliquidi), Dante Natali (Federmetano), Marina Barbanti (Unem - Unione energie per la mobilità), as well as Davide Tassi (ENAV executive and member of theCsr Manager Network). The Ministry of Economic Development will be represented by the Deputy Minister Alessandra Todde and the Presidency of the Council by the Director General for European Affairs, Francesco Tufarelli. The event will also be attended by Senators Paolo Arrigoni (Territory, Environment, Environmental Assets Commission) and Tatjana Rojc (Foreign Affairs and Emigration Commission), and MP Guido Germano Pettarin (Budget, Treasury and Planning Commission).

Over the three days, several crucial issues for the sector will also be addressed, from the new green fuels developed thanks to new technologies to the huge challenge represented by hydrogen and the digital transition needed to help the sector project itself increasingly into the future.
