Swiss company Glusco Energy SA has found a new owner in Dimitrios Anifantakis, after coming to an agreement with previous holder, Nisan Moisyev. Since last October, the Greek entrepreneur has acquired a 100% stake of the firm that operates more than 100 gas stations and 4 oil depots in Ukraine.

“The Ukrainian fuel market is quite complex, which is why it is interesting to me. I believe that the company has excellent infrastructure and good development prospects. We plan to modernize it in accordance with international standards. Our focus will primarily be on maintaining excellent customer service and high quality petroleum products, as well as implementing European innovations,” Anifantakis commented.

“I respect Ukrainian cultural values and want to build a socially responsible and sustainable business in this country”, he added. According to Ukrainian publisher Nefterynok, Glusco’s new owner has an experience of over 30 years working in the field of global energy trade. He has held senior management positions in companies such as Litasco, BP plc, Cargill SA, Motor Oil Hellas and others. He is currently part of the Board of Directors of Motor Oil Hellas, Greece's largest refinery group with approximately 1,500 gas stations in the country and abroad.
