Żabka Group has announced it launched a total of 90 seasonal shops across Poland during this year's holidays. This concept not only offers tourists constant access to products and services offered by the chain but also an opportunity for additional development and income for franchisees who run a shop in standard locations on a daily basis.

The new seasonal retail points were set up for the first time in Baltic villages and at lagoon, with other shops also operating at lakes. A total of 26 modular seasonal shops and 64 stationary outlets were launched during this year, with 13 seasonal shops making the transition into permanent points of sale.

“The modular outlets are comfortable and safe shopping points, fully air-conditioned, so that our customers can do their daily shopping quickly on their way to the beach or during a walk. For the sake of their convenience, we have also increased the number of deliveries in the seasonal shops - they are made daily, 7 days a week, and in some locations even twice a day. In some locations we have also increased the number of cash registers and launched additional mobile cash registers," said Przemysław Kijewski, Chief Operating Officer of Żabka Polska.

The chain provides franchisees running seasonal shops with a pavilion including all equipment and allows them to run such a shop in accordance with the brand’s standards. Franchisees, as independent entrepreneurs, make their own decisions regarding the employment of employees, including recruitment and possible benefits.

“Agro-tourism has recently been flourishing at the Siemianówka lagoon, so we have a lot of customers at the shop in Nowa Luka - young people, families with children, elderly people. They are all very happy that, thanks to Żabka, they finally have a shop on site where they can find everything they need during their holiday. The location by the beach is also attractive for the shop's employees, who can enjoy a rest by the water after their shift," added Anna Miłek, a franchisee who runs the seasonal shop in Nowa Łuka.
