English Español Shell installs 1,500th charger at Q-Park in the Netherlands

Both companies have been collaborating since 2012 with the development of charging services and mobility hubs across the country.

Last update:

Shell Recharge has installed the 1,500th electric vehicle (EV) charger in a Q-Park parking garage in the Netherlands.

With this latest addition, the energy company and the parking service provider are jointly continuing their involvement in making road traffic more sustainable. The collaboration between both companies goes back to 2012, when the first EV charger was commissioned in a parking garage in the Netherlands.

More than 126 Q-Park locations are now equipped with Shell EV chargers. The two companies will continue installing more regular and fast EV chargers at Q-Park sites.

This collaboration also saw the opening of a new mobility hub last October as The Hague Centre, where other services were added to parking and EV charging facilities. This facility includes a Shell Café, a dry cleaning and laundry service, a meeting room, workplaces, shared bicycles, and shared scooters.

Shell, together with partners including Q-Park, is constantly looking for convenient solutions and services for city centers, today's travelers, and mobile workers.
