Last update:

Grupo Moure, owner of the Spanish fuel and car wash brands Autonetoil and Elefante Azul, has surpassed the €100 million turnover mark for the first time ever. The company states this is a remarkable culmination of strategic investments and resilient operations in 2023.

With brands such as Elefante Azul, Autonetoil, Petronet, and Washnet Factory under its umbrella, Grupo Moure has witnessed substantial growth across its various sectors, laying a robust foundation for its ambitious plans in the coming year, according to a company blog post.

The Spanish company opened 71 Elefante Azul wash centers and Autonetoil service stations. This surge in infrastructure investment has pushed the company's total turnover to €103 million.

Manel Montero, the general manager of Grupo Moure, emphasized the company's adaptability and resilience in navigating the complex economic landscape of 2023.

Underscoring the significance of 2023 as a watershed moment for Grupo Moure, Montero highlighted the acquisition of Petroest and its three service stations in Mallorca as a pivotal move that has further solidified the conglomerate's leading position in the low-cost petrol station sector.

Looking ahead to 2024, Grupo Moure is poised for unprecedented expansion, with ambitious plans to increase its turnover by a staggering 30%, reaching €130 million. Marcos Moure, the president and founder of the conglomerate, expressed unwavering confidence in the company's growth trajectory.

"We are confident of carrying out between 5 and 6 new openings, with a special focus on the Balearic Islands, Madrid, Catalonia, and Galicia. Although we do not rule out continuing to invest in other regions as long as business opportunities arise and the optimum conditions for investment are met,” he said.

In addition to its core operations in the energy and carwash sectors, Grupo Moure is embarking on ventures into new domains, such as boats and vessels.
