NACS Convenience Leaders Exchange comes to Latin America

NACS lands in Latin America with the inaugural edition of its Convenience Leaders Exchange LATAM, bringing together CEOs, owners, directors, and retailers from around the world. Celebrated in Buenos Aires, Argentina, industry leaders will gather at the Hotel Faena on April 9-10 for two days of learning, networking, and collaboration.

Hosted by Claudio Reboredo, Partner at FGC, and Giselle Valdevez, Owner at VALSA, the two-day event will serve as a platform for attendees to explore the opportunities and challenges within this vibrant region. To achieve this, a series of engaging activities with valuable learning and networking opportunities have been organized, including site visits, panel discussions, and keynote sessions.

The event will kick off with a Best Practices Store Tour, showcasing the most relevant service stations and travel centers in Buenos Aires. Participants will have the opportunity to visit innovative facilities by YPF, Shell, Axion, and Puma Energy, alongside FGC’s own Lion Place concept

On the following day, Henry Armour, President & CEO of NACS, will inaugurate a series of keynote presentations addressing pivotal topics within the fuel retail and convenience industry across the region. These include a comprehensive examination of an electric vehicle case study, led by Francis David, General Manager at Voltex, as well as an in-depth look at biofuels’ potential throughout Latin America, presented by Teofilo Lacroze, CEO of Mobility for Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay at Raizen.

Convenience will also take center stage at the event, with valuable insights shared by industry leaders such as Gabriel de Hoyos, Director at OXXO Mexico, Jose Luis Moreno, Commercial Director at Terpel, and Nicolas Lleras, Director at ExxonMobil. Furthermore, a thought-provoking roundtable discussion on the future of convenience in the region will feature representatives from NACS, YPF, AMPM, and Ipiranga.
