English Español OG Clean Fuels acquires 13 new Bio-CNG sites in the Netherlands

The new sites improve the overall distribution of the alternative fuel across the country and expand the company’s network up to 103 stations.

OG Clean Fuels is strengthening its market position in the Dutch Bio-CNG market by acquiring 13 new refueling locations in South Central Netherlands. 

This strategic move underscores OG's vision to play a crucial role in promoting clean mobility, with a focus on the transportation sector. The company remains committed to promoting Bio-CNG in the transport sector as a viable and affordable solution.

The firm currently operates sites in the Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, and Italy, and from 2025 in Spain and the UK. 

"With this acquisition, we increase our number of refueling locations from 88 to 103, improving our national coverage and strengthening our position as the market leader of Bio-CNG in the Netherlands. Bio-CNG has an important role to play in the transition to sustainable transport and achieving the climate goals in the Netherlands," said Jort Kooijman, Sales Manager at OG.

The acquisition, completed in March, improves the overall distribution of Bio-CNG refueling locations in the Netherlands. 

OG has grown in recent years to a turnover of around €200 million, with the ambition to grow to more than a billion euro turnover in the next 5-7 years.
