The new product being introduced will replace the super Extra line, the company said as it explained that the new fuel will help drivers cover longer distances. It includes Shell FuelSave Super for gasoline and Shell Fuel Save Gasoil for diesel.

Shell’s long experience made it possible for Vivo Energy Senegal to offer fuels which are “innovative and of quality at regulated prices,” said Franck Konan-Yahaut, general director of Vivo Energy Senegal.

FuelSave Gasoil allegedly can “burn faster and more efficiently” and like the new gasoline, help in savings. The newly introduced gasoline allegedly also helps to keep injectors cleaner as it can better prevent the settlement of particles compared with the past product, the company said.

“A scientist from Shell came especially from Hamburg for the launching,” the statement said.

Vivo Energy runs in total 1,470 fuel stations in several African countries, including the 80 in Senegal.
