It will set up Travelex Japan machines at its four stores in Tokyo starting next month and plans to have them available at 1,000 locations in major cities and tourist destinations by 2020.

The machines, managed by Nippon Express, are available 24 hours to dispense yen in exchange for 13 foreign currencies including the dollar, euro, yuan, and won.

They also feature a language option where users can select English, Chinese, and two other languages.

Approximately 20 million foreign tourists visited Japan last year and they usually go to the country’s convenience stores not only to buy food and drinks but also other items such as cosmetics and souvenirs.
