Implico's OpenTAS certified for new EMCS 2.2

Implico’s OpenTAS terminal management software has now been certified for use with the new EMCS Release 2.2.

Last update:

Implico Group's logistics solution will enable tank terminals and refineries to automate their shipping processes with a fully integrated customs clearance tool. The software and consulting company will be converting its customers' systems over the next few weeks.

Registration and processing must be carried out via EMCS 2.2 starting in July this year. To obtain certification, the downstream experts at Implico spent the past few weeks adapting the software to meet the latest requirements.

The software company will be migrating all refineries and tank terminals that want to keep benefiting from fully integrated customs clearance. This ensures that they are perfectly prepared when EMCS 2.2 becomes mandatory in the summer and EMCS 2.1 can no longer be used.

Through the OpenTAS system drivers can handle electronic customs clearance in a completely automated way.

Hamburg-based Implico optimizes logistics and business processes for oil and gas downstream companies.
