Spain: Istobal becomes main carwash equipment supplier for Cepsa

Spanish carwash company Istobal will be the main supplier of new equipment for automatic carwash systems at Cepsa fuel stations in Spain and Portugal.

Through this new agreement Spain´s second largest gas station network, Cepsa, partners with Europe’s second manufacturer of automatic carwash systems. Istobal will be in charge of supplying 70% of new equipment and 75% of maintenance for the Cepsa network.

The operation poses great potential for Istobal as Cepsa currently has a network of over 1,700 gas stations, of which only 246 have automatic carwash services, reported Spanish journal Expansión.

The three-year deal strengthens Istobal´s position as market leaders in Spain, with the new Cepsa agreement adding to existing deals with other major fuel operators such as Repsol, BP or Galp.
