Orpak to provide solutions to Brazil’s largest logistics firm

Orpak Systems has been selected to provide fuel and fleet management solutions to JSL, one of the largest logistics companies and fleet operators in Brazil, according to a company release.

Orpak Systems will deliver solutions consist of ForeFuel RFID vehicle identification solution, which is designed to better monitor and manage the amount of fuel consumed by JSL fleets, and the implementation of ForeHB, an end-to-end commercial fuel site management solution at each fuelling site.

The Orpak-JSL project has been launched at five fuel stations and two tanker trucks in Rio de Janeiro with plans to extend the services nationwide.

JSL's extensive fleet services include fuel for major 3rd-party fleets, such as the Brazilian police force, city municipalities, transportation companies, car rental, and vehicle leasing.

“With Orpak's ForeFuel solution, JSL is able to manage fast refueling with no need for cash, card, coupon payment, or any other fueling authorization. ForeFuel provides tighter control and efficiently reduces losses as it ensures that fuel goes solely to the authorized vehicle whose account should be charged. Removing the nozzle and trying to fuel another vehicle immediately suspends RFID fueling activity,” further said the release.
