The Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC)-owned c-store chain seeks to expand the 200 stores it currently operates to meet the increasing customer demand and triple its revenues within the next 15 years, according to a company release.

It also plans to increase the number of ZOOM stores in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

The retail industry in the UAE continues to expand and has generated revenues for petrol stations amid weak economy brought about by weak global fuel prices, reports The National.

Standalone, service station, and franchise stores are some of the store types planned to be built.

"We are studying strategic partnership opportunities with developers and hotels to identify attractive locations, redefining customer expectations and experience by changing our merchandise mix, and exploring newer options of the look-and-feel format," said Saif Al Falasi, the Enoc group chief executive.
