Walmart lands in Hawaii with first gas station

Hawaii's first Walmart gas station is being built at a shopping complex in West O'ahu, according to Biz Journals.

A Walmart gas station is being built in Kapolei, Hawaii, with a Panda Express convenience store. Both companies expect the work to be finished by the end of the year.

The Kealanani Plaza will consist of three buildings totalling about 20,000 square-feet of space, including the fuelling station and the Panda Express store.

The shopping complex, which will also have about 110 parking spaces, is being developed by Panda Express, a company that already has 20 locations in Hawaii.
