Orpak buys Greek fuel station automation experts Logicom

Orpak Systems has acquired Greek company Logicom, a leading provider for fuel stations and c-store station automation in the country.

Service provider for the fuel retailing industry, Orpak Systems, is expanding its business into the Balkan area with the acquisition of Logicom.

Logicom is a long-time partner and distributor of Orpak in Greece with offices in Athens and Thessaloniki. The acquisition is a significant step in the continued growth of Orpak in the Balkan area and will increase Logicom’s strong presence in the Greek market.

With Orpak, Logicom will provide different options to the fuel market, presenting new solutions such as Orpak’s ForeFuel (Fuel Payment by Vehicle’s RFID) and ForeVision (Business Insight & Optimization suite) to the retail segment.

“Greece is an important market for Orpak and together with Logicom we plan to launch a nation-wide Automatic Vehicle Identification project,” stated Ilan Naveh, VP Sales at Orpak Systems.

Orpak has installed its products in more than 35,000 service stations and 7 million vehicles across 60 countries.
