Turkish oil firm eyes buying Serbia's second largest petrol company
Turkish fuel distributor OPET has expressed its interest in acquiring Knez Petrol, a Serbian petrol company with a network of 85 petrol stations and 100 oil tank cars, reports serbianmonitor.com.
A top executive from OPET was reported to offer 100 million euros to buy Knez and set its acquisition by mid August.
OPET operates more than 1,200 petrol stations in Turkey under the brand OPET and SUNOPET.
