Libyan oil firm expands in Ethiopia with 17 new petrol stations

Libya state-owned OiLibya is expanding in Ethiopia with a total of 17 petrol stations, raising the number of stations operated by the fuel supplier to 167, reports AllAfrica.com.

Five petrol stations were already opened last month, two of which are in the capital Addis Ababa.

The remaining stations are set to be launched in the country’s five regional states in the coming months.

Considered as the company’s most important expansion in eight years, OiLibya together with partner companies are investing 75 million Br (3.2 million dollars) in the petrol stations.

OiLibya, a brand name of Libya Oil Holding, supplies and markets petroleum products in 18 African countries.
