Poland’s Lotos targets 1,000 services stations
Poland’s second largest refiner Grupa Lotos SA is targeting a number of acquisitions to expand its current gas station network.
The Polish group is considering the acquisition of a number of petrol stations in the country and some foreign upstream assets, according to Grupa Lotos’ Chief Executive Officer Marcin Jastrzebski.
“Getting to about 1,000 stations would enable us to have a bigger say in retail business,” Jastrzebski told reporters.
“I hope that investors would forgive us if we were to make significant acquisitions in upstream and retail, which would make paying out dividends difficult,” added the CEO.
A few months back Lotos rolled out 12 electric vehicle charging points.
