English Español Spain: BP opens six new stations in Andalucía

British Petroleum opens six new service stations in the Spanish province of Sevilla, increasing its total number of sites in the area to 34 and 210 in the whole of Andalucía.

The inauguration event, which took place in the BP station at the Parque de los Príncipes, was attended by BP executives including the President of BP Spain, Luis Aires, as well as leading figures from the two retailing groups operate the stations – Gasolineras and Grupo COAR.

“These new services stations are a sign of the growing commitment of BP with Andalucía (…) We plan to continue expanding our network,” said Luis Aires.

Three of the new gas stations located in the city of Sevilla belong to Gasolineras Isbilya Sl. Miguel Baez Spinola, administrator of the company, said that “they chose BP to flagship their three new sites because they consider it a brand that is synonymous with innovation, security and quality.”

The three new sites in Sevilla city will all open 24 hours a day.

BP is the third biggest player in the Spanish oil market with 650 services stations and an 8% share of the market.
