US: Breeze Thru Car Wash to spend $700K on Richie’s Car Wash rebrand

Breeze Thru Car Wash has acquired Richie’s Car Wash in Fort Collins, Colorado and will be spending $700,000 on it, installing a free central vacuum system, automated pay stations and updated car wash equipment, according to a company release.

The acquired Richie’s Car Wash, located at 3141 S College, gives Breeze Thru a second location in Fort Collins and a total of seven locations throughout Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming.

“For years we’ve heard our customers say that they would like to see a Breeze Thru on the south side of Fort Collins, so for 9 years we’ve tried to get a second location. This location fills a gap for us in south Fort Collins,” said John Agnew, co-owner of Breeze Thru Car Wash.

Agnew added: “We are putting in automated washing equipment to reduce the manual labor, such as pre-washing the cars but we won’t change the flow for entering the car wash”.

The remodelled exterior-only car wash is set to open in early December and will offer free car washes for two weeks.

Richie’s Car Wash located in Parker, Colorado will remain under the ownership and management of Richie Frank.
