Once again PetrolPlaza was in Moscow to cover the 24th edition of the International AUTOCOMPLEX Exhibition and to bring you the latest information on the Russian fuels market. Our video review is in Russian with English subtitles.

PetrolPlaza event review of AUTOCOMPLEX 2017 - Part 1

Organized by ACS-EXPO and supported by the Moscow Government and the Russian Fuel Union, AUTOCOMPLEX 2017 brought together the Russian fuelling industry along with participants from neighbouring countries and international companies. The event took place November 1-3.

Some 108 companies from 10 countries took part in the exhibition with players such as Gilbarco Veeder-Root, Tatsuno Rus, Topaz-servis, Beijing Sanki Technology and OPW showcasing their latest products and innovations.

This year’s AUTOCOMPLEX show included a section dedicated to electric vehicle charging: PAO Rosseti, ABB, ABL Rus and Economicheskiye Electroresheniya all displayed their EV charging technology. The organizers are considering the possibility of having an EV section at every show to stay ahead of the times.

With oil prices stabilization and the Russian fuels market consolidating, participants were somewhat optimistic about the future of the industry. A highlighted trend was the expansion of large road service centres that include gas stations, cafés, hotels and other services that offer companies great business opportunities.

The next edition of AUTOCOMPLEX will take place from October 30 to November 1, 2018 at the same exhibition centre in Moscow.
