Approximately 75% of the new EV station sites will be located at workplaces in 17 of the biggest cities in the United States, while 35% will be at multi-family residential and workplace sites in California in designated low-income community areas.

According to the company, the 2,800 Level 2 charging stations will be located at approximately 500 sites, all with more than one charging station. Level 2 charging will provide for a charging speed up to 20-25 miles of driving range per hour.

This initiative is part of Electrify America’s $2 billion investment in EV infrastructure and will be operated in collaboration with EV companies SemaConnect, EV Connect, and Greenlots.
