After boosting its bunkering segment, local fuel retailer GOIL continues to expand its station network in Ghana. The company has also been involved with national authorities in the regulation of fuel prices, reports Ghana Web.

“As a company, we believe that the indigenous Oil Marketing Companies must control the retail sector of the industry. To this end, we are determined to serve our customers better, ensure that customers benefit from GOIL services and get value for money when they buy from GOIL stations,” said Marcus Deo Dake, Head of Fuels Marketing at GOIL.

GOIL’s target is to have a large portfolio of stations in order to be able to serve Ghanaians across the whole territory.

“So we want to bring the services close to the drivers, who are in this area so they can also enjoy the good services that we offer, the quality fuels that we offer, quality services, and value for money that we offer our customers,” he added.

In 2012, the company went through a rebranding process that involved the changing of the company’s corporate logo, the adoption of a new slogan ‘Good energy’ and the complete revamping of existing stations.
