New MasterCard certificate awarded for Tokheim’s Dutch factory

Tokheim receives new MasterCard Terminal Quality Management Statement of Compliance for outdoor payment terminals.

The factory Tokheim Netherlands B.V. in Bladel, Netherlands, has been awarded renewal of the MasterCard Terminal Quality Management (TQM) Statement of Compliance for the Tokheim Crypto VGA Outdoor Payment Terminal (OPT).

The TQM scheme was created by MasterCard to ensure that the functionality of chip terminals, as certified during type approval testing by EMVCo, can be sustained throughout a manufacturing cycle. TQM is a mandatory requirement to participate in a MasterCard Terminal Integration Process certification, which in turn, is required to certify the payment terminal with an acquirer.

The Crypto VGA is a secure transaction solution with the latest payment card industry approvals and sophisticated anti-fraud capabilities. At the beginning of last year, Tokheim announced that the Tokheim Crypto VGA was the world’s first outdoor payment system to be awarded with the most recent PCI PTS 5.x security.
