USA: RaceTrac to enter Tennessee with 30 new stores
Fuel and convenience retailer RaceTrac is entering a new market for the first time in 15 years.
The company has announced plans to open 30 gas stations with convenience stores in Middle Tennessee by 2023, reports the Tennessean.
The 30 new sites will create more than 600 jobs and would have an average size of 5,500 square feet.
“Nashville is undergoing a true transformation with an influx of new residents and businesses that provide a foundation for continued growth. We believe the city’s young, vibrant population — along with the growth in commuting and mobile workplaces — is a natural fit for RaceTrac,” said RaceTrac President Billy Milam.
The new Nashville-area stores will offer food and beverage options, free Wi-Fi and indoor/outdoor seating.
RaceTrac’s has a network of more than 435 stores spread throughout spans Georgia, Florida, Louisiana and Texas.
