Shell to offer more non-fuel products in Thailand
Shell stations in Thailand plan to offer more non-fuel products and services as part of the company’s 50 percent fuel and 50 percent non-fuel target by 2025, reports The Nation.
Around 30 Deli Café, Shell’s coffee shop, will be opened every year, a huge leap from its current 55 branches.
In addition, Shell’s convenience store brand, Select, aims to become a shopping destination in the country, offering grocery and grab-and-go food items. Seventy-six Select outlets are expected to be renovated this year.
The oil giant will also deliver the best service to Thai consumers as it strives to become “Happiness Stations”, said Ornuthai Na Chiangmai, executive director of retail business at Shell.
The Shell Company of Thailand, fully owned by Shell Overseas Holdings, operates 520 Shell petrol stations and 320 Shell Helix oil change stations, according to the Bangkok Post.
