New hydrogen station opens near France's Versailles
Air Liquide has unveiled a new hydrogen station in Les Loges-en-Josas, near Versailles, in France, marking the company’s third station in the Greater Paris Area.
The new hydrogen station will fuel the two hydrogen-powered buses, scheduled for rollout in 2019, running between Vélizy and Versailles.
Similarly, this is the third Air Liquide station to fuel hydrogen-powered buses, following the two stations installed near Oslo, Norway and near Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
The Versailles station will also support the growth of hydrogen taxi fleet “Hype”, which now has 75 hydrogen-powered vehicles and plans to deploy a total of 200 by the end of 2018.
The new hydrogen station has received support from the Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking and the European program 3Emotion.
