The Shell Mukhaizna Service Station’s solar system technology, provided by Continental Shelf of Solar Tech, is expected to contribute to the reduction of the site’s carbon footprint by approximately 900 tons in an average of 25 years.

It is only one of the many sites Shell Oman plans to open in Muscat as part of its “Solar Into Stations” Project, a company initiative that aims to contribute to energy transition while creating in-country value through business opportunities for Omani enterprises.

“This solar project (encourages) renewable energy solutions. Solar Into Stations project will help support the growth and development of SMEs in Oman in its energy transition journey, and our partnership with Continental Shelf of Solar Tech is a great example of that,” said Khalid Hashil Al Awaisi, Retail Country Manager at Shell Oman.

Continental Shelf of Solar Tech has been recently recognized as one the country’s outstanding enterprises by RIYADA, Oman’s Public Authority for Development of SMEs.
