ADNOC Distribution to give away 100,000 free Smart tags for cashless fuelling

UAE fuel and convenience retailer ADNOC Distribution is giving away 100,000 additional free Smart Tags, in preparation for the introduction of the company’s new service, ADNOC Flex.

The Smart (RFID) Tag, installed at a vehicle’s fuel tank inlet, allows customers to pay for fuel without using a credit card or cash.

Smart Tag installation is currently offered at Al Ramz Service Station in Musaffah, Al Ain Main Vehicle Inspection Centre at Falaj Hazza in Al Ain, Al Talla Service Station in Ajman, and Al Rabdan service station in Abu Dhabi. Mobile units are also carrying out installations for vehicle fleets across the country.

Individual and corporate pre-paid customers can book the installation via the ADNOC Wallet, Oasis convenience stores, and the Smart Tag installation centers. Corporate pre-paid post-paid customers can also book an appointment via the SMART Card centers.

“For those customers who use our ADNOC Flex services, a Smart Tag will make the experience even easier and quicker,” said Saeed Al Rashdi, Acting CEO at ADNOC Distribution.

ADNOC Flex offers three refuelling options: premium service for a small fee, self service refuelling, and MyStation that allows fuel and LPG delivery.
