Qatar’s Woqod unveils 63rd petrol station

Qatar Fuel (Woqod) has opened its 63rd service station as part of its strategy to increase the total number of stations operated by the company to 100 by 2020.

Located in Madinat Al Mawater in Qatar’s Rawdat Rashed village, the 7,403-square meter service station will offer 24-hour fuel and non-fuel services including Sidra convenience store, car wash facility, auto repair, tire services, and sale of LPG cylinders, gasoline, and diesel products.

“The new opening reflects our ambitious plans to expand our network and accessibility within Qatar, in order to cater to the growing demand of the local market and ensure that high quality products and services are availed to all our customers at their convenience across the country,” said Saad Rashid Al Muhannadi, Chief Executive Officer, Woqod.

With the addition of Madinat Al Mawater fuel station, the company’s branded stations network increased to 50 stations.

Twenty seven Woqod petrol station projects are currently being developed and most of which are expected to be operational within 2018.
