Irving Oil has started to rebrand the Ultramar sites and expects to complete the transition by late August 2018.

Nine of the thirteen acquired sites, according to a company release, are in Nova Scotia with locations in Halifax, Dartmouth, Lower Sackville, and Truro. Additional sites acquired are in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, and Dieppe, New Brunswick.

“Irving Oil recognizes that to remain highly competitive, we need to continue to grow across all of our geographies, and this starts in Atlantic Canada,” said Ian Whitcomb, President, Irving Oil.

Irving Oil, which has been serving Atlantic Canada for more than 90 years, operates Canada’s largest refinery and more than 900 fuelling locations and a network of distribution terminals.
