JET opens refurbished site in UK after £1.3mn investment

JET Smalleys set to more than double fuel volumes in just six months following £1.3 million investment.

Last update:

SK Fuels Ltd is the owner of nine JET sites throughout the north of England, including JET Smalleys in Thorne, near Doncaster. The 24/7 site has recently reopened following a £1.3 million redevelopment programme which saw major changes on the forecourt and the existing 400sq feet store knocked down and replaced with a 2,300sq feet store.

JET Smalleys is the third of SK Fuels’ sites to be fully knocked down and redeveloped, with JET Central in Belton and JET Turnpike in Barnsley having already been recently redeveloped. Planning is already underway for further redevelopment work at the company’s other sites.

The forecourt layout has changed, with a new 4.8 metre high JET-branded LED canopy and new Wayne Helix 6000 pumps. There are now three pumps islands each with eight nozzles.
