Total Nigeria, Ecobank partner to expand reach of bank services

Total Nigeria and Ecobank have partnered to make banking services more accessible at Total petrol stations in Nigeria.

The collaboration will kick off at 100 Total service stations with the setting up of Ecobank Xpress Points, outlets that will offer deposits, withdrawal, account opening, transfers, and bills payments.

Carol Oyedeji, Executive Director of Ecobank Nigeria, explained that the partnership with Total will help customers especially in remote and rural locations to have easier access to banking services.

It will also turn Total’s network of fuel stations into a real one-stop shops, bringing 570 stations in Nigeria closer to its 200,000 daily customers, said Adesua Adewole, Total Nigeria’s General Manager Sales and Marketing, in an interview with The Nation.
