USA: Carwash operator opens its first express location

Waterway Carwash has announced the opening of its first Waterway Express location.

This weekend, Waterway Carwash opened its first Express site a former BP station in St. Louis. During the opening weekend the company offered free car wash services to the public.

The Waterway Express, featuring a double-tunnel concept, is the first Express to open in the five cities Waterway serves, according to a press release.

“This is an exciting concept for Waterway with its sole focus on fast and friendly service,” explained Waterway President and CEO Bob Dubinsky. “And we really do mean unbelievably fast.”

Waterway has invested $4.5 million in improvements to the site, which includes bioretention basins as well as LED lighting for the entire facility.

Founded in 1970 in St. Louis, Missouri, Waterway currently operates 20 locations in five cities
