U.S. retailer ExtraMile Convenience Stores LLC has opened its 800th location in West Covina, California. The convenience store chain, a joint venture between Chevron U.S.A. and Jacksons Food Stores, plans continue expanding west.

With convenience stores in California, Oregon and Washington, ExtraMile plans to reach 1,400 sites by 2027, according to CSP Daily News.

“This is a significant milestone in the ExtraMile growth story,” said Paul Casadont, president of EMCS. “With our network now comprising more than 800 c-stores in California, Oregon and Washington, more consumers can experience our world-class c-store experience and enjoy our product offerings and fantastic customer service.”

The new site is operated by G&M Oil, one of ExtraMiles’ largest franchisees, which owns and operates 153 Chevron and Texaco sites, including 118 ExtraMile convenience stores.

“We’ve been working with Chevron, their quality fuels and the ExtraMile brand for years,” said George J. Pearson, general manager and vice president of G&M Oil. “We are looking forward to building out every Chevron-branded location in our network to the ExtraMile format over the next decade.”

Chevron U.S.A. Inc. is a subsidiary of Chevron Corp., one of the world’s leading integrated energy companies.
