Zips Car Wash expands to Virginia an acquisition

The growing U.S. car wash operator has acquired two locations from Express Jet Car Wash.

Zips Car Wash now operate car washes in 15 states with the acquisition of Express Jet Car Wash in Virginia. With two locations, one in Roanoke and one in Lynchburg, Zips Car Wash plans to continue Express’ legacy and implement the Zips Way practices to its newest team members and customers.

“We are so excited to move into Virginia,” said Roger Blackstone, Regional Manager for the Eastern Region for Zips Car Wash. “Express Jet has run two excellent car washes and we are excited to acquire and learn from their teams’ expertise,” he added.

Zips Car Wash offers several tiers of Unlimited Wash Club plans with a simple sign-up method at all stores. The company will expand hours of operation for Virginia customers and offer express services 7 days a week, 8am – 8pm daily.

“We will work to rebrand these stores over the coming months but will implement our Unlimited Wash Club program right away,” said Blackstone.
