The new compressed natural gas fueling site, located at its current Pinellas Park facility, will have the capacity to fuel 20 trucks.

Waste Management Inc. is planning in the long-term to expand its compressed natural gas fleet to 65 vehicles by 2021, informed the Tampa Bay Times. The company currently runs 700 trucks on natural gas and 14 fueling stations in Florida.

"Waste Management vehicles powered by compressed natural gas emit nearly zero particulate emissions, cut greenhouse gas emissions and are quieter than diesel trucks," the company said in a news release.
